Remember that super cool female empowerment music video that Maroon 5 released for their single, “Girls Like You”? The one that starts off with Adam Levine alone at the microphone on a rotating platform before female athletes, comedians, scientists, journalists and entertainers appear one-by-one behind him, dancing and lip-syncing?
Well, there’s a Malaysian version of it! Joining the global initiative to give due credit and equal rights to women, a few of our local celebrities have gotten together to create a short video of the hit song. These names include Sweet Qismina (actress/TV host), Farah Ann (national artistic gymnast), Hannah Tan(entrepreneur/entertainer), Kiran Jassal (Miss Universe Malaysia 2016) and Leong Mun Yee (national diver)! Maroon 5 shared the video on their Facebook page too!
