Many of us might have been led to believe that women prefer muscles over a dad bod, but it looks like that's not the truth for Malaysian women!
A recent survey found that Malaysian women not only find men with a small belly attractive, it also makes them feel safe!
The data shows that 53% of the women from the survey, majority of them from Penang, like men that are slightly “chubby” because it makes them feel secure and they are also more huggable when they feel lonely.
70% of the women surveyed were between 18 to 25 years old, but they seem to find muscular men more attractive as they get older.
While the survey has more Malaysian women that prefer men with a “dad bod”, women in Klang Valley, however, still prefer muscular men, with 32% of them that find chubbier men acceptable.
“The rest of them are more interested in men with strong thighs, hips and biceps, especially the ones that work in the office at the age range of 28 to 35 years old.”
88% of the women from Johor also find men with long and “flowy” hair attractive and unique.
“In addition to that, half of the women also revealed that they like to observe men’s Adam’s apple, especially when they drink water and it goes up and down.”
Before you get angry about the data though, the survey did not actually reveal how many users were involved, so perhaps it might not be that accurate after all. Plus you know what they say, in the end, all that matters is how much you love the other person!
