Malaysians Are Saddened By The Fall Of This 130-Year-Old Tree In Taiping

If you’ve been to the Raintree Walk in Taman Tasik Taiping, then you would have definitely noticed its iconic large and beautiful tree.

The tree is supposedly 130 years old and has always been one of the main attractions of the lake.

According to some stories, the tree was planted by British officers at the mining pool 130 years ago.

Unfortunately, the tree was recently uprooted after the roots of the tree broke and was deemed too unstable. Many were saddened by the sight of it.
