It’s not often that you find your belongings after you lose them, especially when it comes to your smartphone. But one man managed to find his lost phone and it came equipped with photos of the perpetrator… and it was definitely a surprise.
A Malaysian student tweeted about how he had lost his phone while he was sleeping and only found his phone two days later. To his surprise, his media gallery was filled with photos of the monkey that “stole” his phone!
"There was no sign of robbery. The only thing on my mind was is it some kind of sorcery," the final year computer science student from Batu Pahat, Johor said.
“And if it was stolen by a thief, why would the thief leave the casing under the bed and take off with the phone?”
He eventually found his phone in a nearby jungle and realised that it was a monkey that “stole” his phone after seeing all the money “selfies” on it.
It turns out this wasn’t the first time the monkey had stolen a phone. It had previously stole two phones from his neighbours too!
He also said that it had been “miserable “ without his phone and he even tried to lure the monkey with another phone but to no avail.
"Something that you might see once in a century," the student said and we can’t agree more!
Have you had your things stolen by monkeys before? Let us know!
