For some of us, birthdays are the best times of the year! A day where it’s all about you that’s filled with love and presents!
One man however, found a way to exploit birthdays when he lied to his 35 girlfriends and told them different birth dates so that he could receive more presents.
Yes. 35 girlfriends.

39-year-old Takasi Miyagawa was recently arrested in Osaka, Japan, for running a “serial relationship scheme”.
According to SoraNews24, the hydrogen water showerhead salesman had convinced multiple women that he was serious in pursuing a relationship with them, and that “marriage was on the cards”.
Once he had the women convinced, Takasi would then tell the women when his birthday was, giving them a different date each.
And when his “birthday” came around, the man was showered with luxurious gifts or cash from his “girlfriends”.
Takashi’s relationship scheme was found out when his victims started to come forward.
A 47-year-old woman shared that the man had told her that his birthday was on 22nd February while another victim claimed that Takashi had told her his birthday was in July, and yet another victim was told that his birthday was in April.
Takashi’s actual birthday is actually on 13th November.
The 39-year-old man has allegedly run his scheme on at least 35 women who have since formed a “Victims Association” and reported his actions to the police in February.
According to reports, the group of women are accusing Takashi of cheating them out of a total of 100,000 yen (RM3,796) that was made up of smaller “birthday” gifts of money and clothing.

We’re still wondering how Takashi was able to keep up with 35 girlfriends (or more) and 35 different birthdays.
We hope the Victims Association will be able to get the justice they deserve from this scheme.
Have you ever lied about when your birthday is? What happened when the truth was found out? Let us know!
