It wasn’t always about making faces look distorted for Mimi. The idea came when she started suffering from sleep paralysis and hallucinating about scary things like people with sliced faces, shadows, bug and more. Yikes!

One day, she decided to paint out what she saw. Luckily for her, once she started doing so, the freaky nightmare stopped.
