Each one of us has a specific flavour when it comes to our favourite instant noodles and unfortunately the creator of one of the most loved “mi goreng” flavour has died.

The creator of the famous “mi goreng” instant noodles flavour, Nunuk Nuraini, passed away at the age of 59.
“Ibu Hajjah Nunuk Nuraini has passed away and returned peacefully to God, ” the instant noodles company announced.
Nunuk Nuraini passed away on 27 January 2021, but the cause of death was not disclosed.
The Mi Goreng flavour that she invented was first released in 1982, and she had since created many other flavours over the span of almost 30 years with the company like Soto, Rendang, Chicken Curry and Sambal Matah!
The Mi goreng flavoured instant noodles has since made its way around the world, being well-known and loved by people from Southeast Asia to Australia and more.
Many fans of the instant noodles also mourned the lost of the creator that invented their favourite Mi goreng flavour, with many paying tribute on social media.

A tweet wrote, “we just lost Mrs. Nunuk Nuraini, the genius flavour developer of people’s beloved instant noodles ‘Indomie’ today. may her soul rest in love and her legacies will definitely forever live on. you are truly a legend for Indonesians.”
