Millie Bobby Brown may have one of Hollywood’s most recognizable names, but it turns out part of it isn’t actually hers. In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the Stranger Things star surprised her Electric State co-star, Chris Pratt, by revealing that "Bobby" isn’t part of her real name at all.

“My middle name is Bonnie,” the 21-year-old shared. “No Bobby—it’s Millie Bonnie Brown. I’ve never told anyone that.”
Pratt, caught off guard by the revelation, asked why she chose “Bobby” as part of her stage name. Her answer? Purely for fun. “Just for s--ts and giggles,” she said with a laugh.
This isn’t the only time Brown has made a name change. Last year, she officially added Bongiovi to the mix after marrying Jake Bongiovi, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. The couple, who went public with their romance in 2021, tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2024.

Reflecting on her first year of marriage, Brown opened up about love and commitment, explaining how she and Jake made sure they were aligned on their future before saying “I do.”
“We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,” she told Vanity Fair last month. “It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”
And while Brown admits that love takes different forms, she’s certain about her feelings for Jake.
“Loving someone and being in love are two different things,” she said. “He is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with.”
Looks like Millie Bobby—er, Bonnie—Brown has always known exactly who she is.
