Age catches up quickly and sometimes it’s hard for you to control or slow down your ageing process, but this mother proves otherwise!
A 43-year-old mother from California went viral after people got her confused and mistaken as her 19-year-old daughter’s sister instead of mom.
Joleen Diaz is an elementary school teacher and her daughter Meilani says that she’s used listening to people mistaking her mother as her sister growing up.
She said that her secret to maintaining her youthful looks is mostly because of her skincare routine.
“I religiously take care of my skin, and everyday wash my face in the morning and before I go to bed,” Joleen said in a recent interview. “I began taking care of my skin at a young age, around 12 or 13.”
The single mom revealed that she would secretly use her mother’s skincare products when she was a kid and had her daughter do the same skincare routine when she was 12 too to make sure she had the same radiant skin.
Joleen also works out and follows a balanced and healthy diet. She also gets plenty of rest and most importantly a laidback attitude and not worry about the past and future too much.
“I’m pretty pragmatic and try not to worry too much about the past or anticipate worries in the future,” she said. “I live a pretty simple life and I’m content with what I have.”
Many netizens dubbed her the “world’s hottest mom” leaving many people in disbelief and asking for her skincare and workout routine.
