Shocking news arrived in Brunei just a couple of days before the premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 4th, when it was announced that every screening of the film would be cancelled in the country.

One of the major cinema chains in Brunei, One Cineplex Brunei took to their Facebook page to share their apologies over the cancellation of the film’s showings.
This of course was received as a shock and confusion by the locals who have been super excited to watch the latest Marvel installation.

This news did not end in Brunei as their friendly neighbours decided to hop over into the post and invite them over into the country to watch the movie in Malaysia instead.

Local netizens flocked to the comment section to invite Bruneians to travel to Sarawak and other nearby locations in East Malaysia to catch the movie as the international borders between the two countries have since reopened.
