As we all know, hospitals and frontliners everywhere are currently doing everything they can to battle the virus. But besides just battling the virus, expecting mothers are also making their way to hospitals to welcome their babies.
Knowing that hospitals are currently a hotbed of activity in regards to the virus, Paolo Hospital in the Samut Prakan province of Thailand decided to do everything they can to help protect the newborns.
And their solution to the problem was to give these newborn extra protection in the form of face shields!

The hospital recently posted pictures of these adorable babies all dressed up in Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and we’re squealing at the cuteness!
Now, the face shield may be more than half the size of the babies but as long as it’s effective, we’re not complaining about this creative measure to protect the newborns.

If you’re wondering about the babies’ comfort levels with these face shields, worry not as it looks like these babies would rather sleep than notice anything amiss!
“We have extra protection measures for little ones and friends, with face shields for newborns,” the hospital wrote in a Facebook post. “So cute! Congratulations to all moms and dads!”
In case you didn’t know, Thailand has recently implemented a curfew on all its citizens in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. The curfew will be in place until 15th April.
In the meantime, we’re glad that this new generation is getting all the protection they need to get through these troubling times! And it doesn’t hurt that these babies look super cute in their little face shields!
Be sure to play your part in protecting the future generation by staying safe and staying indoors!
