Fans were excited when Korean actor Ma Dong-seok was confirmed to star in Marvel Studios’ Eternals and it looks like another Korean actor is joining him in the MCU soon!
South Korean actor Park Seo Joon is reportedly set to join Brie Larson and others in the Captain Marvel sequel movie, The Marvels!
According to Star News, the actor received an offer to join The Marvels and had completed all internal reviews in the beginning of this year.
The Itaewon Class star is reportedly set to start filming with the cast of The Marvels in the second half of this year in the United States after he completes filming for his movie Concrete Utopia.
Brie Larson is set to reprise her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the sequel movie and joined by WandaVision’s Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel from the unreleased self-titled series.
The Marvels is set to release in cinemas November 2022.
Park Seo Joon’s agency Awesome ENT responded saying, “No comment” regarding the report but if it’s indeed confirmed, he will be the second Korean star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Fans are overjoyed with the news with many saying they can’t wait to see their favourite actor join their favourite cinematic universe and we couldn’t agree more!
