UPDATE: Baby Sussex’s Name Has Been Revealed!

Hear ye! Hear ye! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to introduce their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world!

After the new family of three made their first public debut, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took their newborn and introduced him to his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

It was after the introduction that the new parents revealed Baby Sussex’s official name as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The announcement was made through a statement on the couple’s official Instagram that said:

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eight great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”

Just three days after Prince Harry announced that he and Meghan Markle had welcomed a baby boy into the world, the couple and baby have made their first public debut as a family of three!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the first glimpse of their newborn son and we’re loving this new trio!

Whilst introducing the new “Baby Sussex,” Meghan said, “He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm. He’s been the dream.”

“I don’t know who he gets that from,” Prince Harry joked.

Speaking about their first days as new parents, Meghan said, “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.

“It’s great. Parenting is amazing,” Harry added. “It’s only been two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.”

The Duchess thanked everyone for their love saying, “Thank you everybody for all the well-wishes and kindness, it just means so much.”

The newborn has yet to be officially named, but everyone seems to have dubbed him “Baby Sussex” until he is.
