We are in the new year now and we all have things that we wish to achieve. And what better way if not to wish for it during a meteor shower!
The Quadrantids meteor shower is set to appear on the 4th to 5th of January and will reveal up to 120 meteors an hour!
The peak time to view the meteor showers is from 11pm on the 4th of January to the early morning on the 5th of January.
People in Ulu Yam, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Kuala Selangor, Broga Hill, Kudat, Kota Belud, Tanjung Simpang Mengayau will have a clear view of the meteor shower.
You can also see the meteors at Pantai Pasir Klebang, Melaka, Pulau Tioman, Cameron Highlands, Pulau Gem, Pantai Malindo and Kampung Teluk Pelanduk!
Make sure you find a spot that’s away from the bright city light and give your eyes some time adjust to the darkness before viewing the meteors!
