After a long, stressful day at work or school, there is nothing better than to just check-out from reality with your favourite game(s), and thanks to gaming consoles such as Sony’s Play Station 4 (PS4), doing just that is extremely easy.
With just a push of a button or two, you can easily and quickly lose yourself to the fun and exhilaration of your favourite game. That is, assuming your console doesn’t suddenly die on you.

Maybe it got struck by lightning or maybe it’s a blackout, but there’s a chance that your PS4 could have short circuited because a cockroach touched two of the wrong points that conduct energy.
As horrifying as having to repair or replace your console, it’s more horrifying to know that apparently cockroaches love making the inside of your PS4 their home. The reason for this is because the ventilation grates are wider allowing roaches easier access.

The insides of a PS4 is also reportedly warmer than that of other consoles such as the Xbox One. The warmth coupled with a dark enclosed space equals prime real-estate for roaches.
This, of course, is never the intention, nor is it the fault of Sony, and preventing your PS4 from being infested is as simple as storing the console in an open space with plenty of airflow and cleaning it – and your room – frequently!
Happy gaming… and roach hunting!
