46-year-old Che Harun from Kampung Kubur Kuda created the roti canai and managed to get the attention of many people after pictures of the dish surfaced on the internet.

The roti canai seller revealed that he got the inspiration for the snake-shaped roti canai after he was shocked by a snake at his home while he was flipping his roti canai.

He began to make the snake-shaped roti canai and got the attention of customers after he started making them at his shop to eat himself.

"When I made it (roti canai ular) to eat by myself, there were customers who asked for a similar shape and it got a lot of response in the end,” he said.

He also said that the “snake” roti canai comes in different flavours based on what the customer orders like roti milo, nestum, cheese and milk. The only difference is the shape of it!

There were also customers that were “uncomfortable” and felt “geli” with the snake-shaped roti canai so he still makes the regular round shaped roti canai or square shaped ones to sell to them.

Many netizens found the creative dish interesting and many are sharing it with their friends who are afraid of snake. One user even shared a picture of a roti canai that’s shaped like a face mask!
