Veveonah and her parents were also invited to the state palace to meet the wife of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sabah, Toh Puan Norlidah R.M. Jasni.
She was presented with a donation in the form of cash and essential items by Toh Puan Norlidah R.M. Jasni as the advisor of the Nur Jauhar Foundation.
After Veveonah’s video went viral, it also prompted the authorities from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to take immediate action and build a new telecommunication tower for higher coverage.
Veveonah thanked the authorities for the contribution that acts as a driving factor to continue working hard to achieve excellence in her education.
She said that she aims to be a teacher or lecturer in the future and said that her parents who work as farmers pushed her to be successful and she hopes that education can improve her and her family’s quality of life.
