Sadie Sink, best known for her role in Stranger Things, is set to join Tom Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man 4, which Sony Pictures has slated for a theatrical release on July 31, 2026.

The film, currently untitled, will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) with a screenplay by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. While plot details remain tightly under wraps, the last installment, Spider-Man: No Way Home, ended with the world forgetting Peter Parker’s identity—including his love interest, MJ (Zendaya). Sink’s role in the new film has yet to be revealed.

Holland teased the sequel last year on Good Morning America, saying, “The idea is crazy. It’s a little different from anything we’ve done before, but I think the fans are going to love it.”

Holland last donned the Spidey suit in No Way Home (2021), which grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide under director Jon Watts. Watts also helmed Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).

For Sink, this marks her entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she prepares to wrap up her time on Stranger Things. She also has upcoming projects including the Searchlight film O’Dessa and the Broadway play John Proctor Is the Villain.
