Football injuries are inevitable sometimes and while some players would stop mid-game after a minor injury, this Scottish footballer did the opposite!

A video recently went viral showing a footballer falling down, dislocating her knees in the process. But she was so dedicated to the game and she decided to hammer her dislocated knees back in place instead.

The footballer is the captain of St Mirren WFC named Jane O’Toole and her teammates posted the video about her brave actions with the caption saying, “our captain Jane O’Toole, is made of tough stuff.”

“Just look at how she dealt with dislocating her knee during our recent game at Inverness.... you can't put a good woman down - she got back up and played the full 90 minutes,” said the post.

The medical staff treated Jane after she kneecap pops off in the 50th minute of the game and she played the remaining 40 minutes of the match.

The match ended with St Mirren losing 7-0 but while they might have lost the game, she definitely won our respect!

But of course if you ever have any injury, it’s best to leave it to the professionals to treat it to prevent causing more injury and long term damage to it.

We hope Jane can make a full and speedy recovery and continue playing football in the future!
