The Look at Her Now singer confirmed on social media that she and Benny Blanco are teaming up for a full-length album, I Said I Love You First, set to release on March 21.

"I always trick you guys," Gomez teased in an Instagram post. "My NEW album I Said I Love You First with my best friend @bennyblanco, is out on 3/21. We can’t wait to share this special project with you soon!"

Fans won’t have to wait to hear their latest collaboration—Gomez and Blanco have already dropped the album’s first single, Scared of Loving You, now available on streaming platforms.

Ahead of the album announcement, Gomez shared a cryptic Instagram Story featuring a handwritten note reading, "I said I love you first." Shortly after, Blanco reposted it, sparking speculation that it might be a song title. Now, it’s clear the phrase represents something even bigger—their entire album.

Gomez and Blanco have collaborated before, notably on their 2019 track I Can't Get Enough with J Balvin and Tainy. Fans had been hoping for more after Blanco teased their studio sessions in January, posting a video of Gomez adjusting a microphone in a home studio.

Blanco, known for producing hits for Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, and Katy Perry, has worked behind the scenes on some of the industry’s biggest tracks. But this marks his first full-length project with Gomez, making their musical and personal partnership even more intertwined.

While fans are excited for new music, Gomez has hinted that her music career may not always be her primary focus.

“I love storytelling, and my music career is separate,” she told Variety in December during a conversation with Saoirse Ronan. “However, I don’t see that being a forever thing.”

Still, music remains a passion for the singer. "I’ll always have music in my life because my partner’s a musician," she added, "and I love having moments to do it for fun."

With I Said I Love You First dropping in just over a month, Gomez and Blanco’s latest project is already shaping up to be a deeply personal and exciting chapter in their love story.
