Have you ever been in a situation where your friends or relatives ask you why you’re still single? Well now there’s a perfect excuse to tell them because there are actually more men than females in Malaysia and there’s proof!
Based on the Department of Statistics Malaysia, there number of males outnumber females by 1 million in Malaysia, with 16.8 million and 15.8 million respectively!
There are reportedly 4200 more males that are given birth to in the fourth quarter of 2018 than females, giving Malaysia a total population of 32.6 million people.
Selangor is now “the most populous state with 6.5 million people and Putrajaya recording the lowest population with 91,900 people,” said Chief statistician, Datuk Sri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin in the statement.
So if you are a guy that’s single on Valentine’s Day, don’t feel bad for, there’s simply not enough girls in Malaysia for you to date…
