We’ve seen many beautiful weddings in many incredible locations but now there’s an option to actually take your wedding out of this world!

If you’ve ever dreamed of a space-themed wedding, well, now you can get a step closer to your dreams by having a wedding in space!

Most couples want their wedding day to be extra unique and if you’re one of them then the possibility of getting married in space is probably right up your alley!

First, Space Perspective was offering individuals to take a trip to the edge of space, and now, they’re offering couples the chance to have an out-of-this-world experience for their big day.

The Florida-based company recently announced that it was taking reservations on its “space balloons” which can fly up to eight people to a whopping 100,000 feet off the ground, in a trip that’ll last for up to six hours.

With 360-degree panaromic views of the Earth’s surface, the space balloon comes equipped with nine reclining plush seats for eight guests and one pilot to sit, as well amenities such as a toilet, bar and even WiFi.

Breakfast will also be provided!

Jane Poynter, who leads Space Perspective alongside her husband Taber MacCallum, talked about the exclusive experience with The Observer saying:

“It’s going to be insane! We launch from the Kennedy Space Center. It takes about two hours to get to the 30km altitude.

During the ascent you’ll be able to see as far as 450 miles in every direction, so you’ll see the entire Florida peninsula, the Bahamas down through the [Florida] Keys over into the Gulf of Mexico.

At peak altitude you’ll see the total blackness of space and at the same time the curvature of Earth – that iconic, thin blue line that astronauts always talk about.”

Before you start making your wedding plans in space though, you should know that the space balloons will only start running in 2024 and will cost you $125,000 (RM529,000) per individual.

It may seem like a lot of money, but compared to other trips to space offered by companies like Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin or SpaceX – which can set you back millions; the space balloon is a much cheaper option for your space wedding.

So, if you’re really thinking about an out-of-this-world wedding, it’s time to start saving up because it ain’t gonna come cheap!

But just imagine all the memories, stories, pictures and videos you’ll have forever!

Would you love to have a wedding at the edge of the Earth? Let us know!
