The term man’s best friend has been used to describe dogs for as long as we know and one dog in Turkey proved just that!
A dog recently went viral after he interrupted a theatrical street performance in Turkey to “rescue” a performer when his character got hurt and fell to the ground.
“The character I played was injured and in great pain. He’d fallen off a horse, and was breathing hard,” the performer, Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy said.
The stray dog can be seen entering the frame in the video and walked over to comfort the actor who was pretending to be suffering.
“I felt warmth on my face. First, I thought my costar was approaching me,” Numan revealed that he didn’t see it coming until he felt the dog’s “kisses”.
He said that he couldn’t help but break character and “was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it.”
“My castmates loved the dog, and the audience was very happy. Everyone cheered.”
The dog was eventually escorted offstage and Numan was so touched by the dog’s kindness that he wants to reunite with him and help find a home for him.
“The next day I went to the same place, looking for him. People told me he usually hangs out there. I went again today,” he said. “I'll look for him until I find him. I've always loved animals.”
Such a kind-hearted doggo! We hope Numan will reunite with the dog and share more memories together!
