All of us have heard it at least once in our lives that men are better drivers than women. But the new study proves otherwise!
The study found that out of 539,000 people that broke the law on the roads in England, 79 percent were men.
When it comes to breaking the law on the road, men outnumber women almost 4:1.
Almost 25 percent of the offences were men speeding and only seven percent of women were speeders.
Not only that, based on the 1.4 million car insurance claims made in 2018 it was found that men are twice as likely to be at fault.
However, more women failed their driving test out of the 1.6 million people who took their driving test and fewer women passed their driving test the first time.
Sometimes drivers are not determined based on their gender though, as found in another study, BMW drivers are the most likely to earn speeding and reckless driving offences
Meanwhile, people with red coloured cars are 10 percent more likely top speed than drivers with white or cream coloured cars.
Do you agree with the study? Let us know your thought about it!
