Fans have been waiting for Super Nintendo World in Japan to open its doors and after being pushed back by the pandemic, Universal Studios Japan finally revealed that it would be opening its doors on 4th February 2021.
Japan, though beautiful, is quite a distance for those of us in Malaysia to travel. But we’ve good news for you!
According to recent reports, plans for a Super Nintendo World in Singapore have been confirmed!

Super Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto recently revealed that besides their current location in Japan, Universal Studios has plans to open more Super Nintendo Worlds around the globe.
These locations include Hollywood, California and Orlando, Florida in the United States and Singapore.

While there is no official date set yet for Super Nintendo World Singapore, reports show that the theme park could be open in 2025.
Shigeru shared these international plans while taking fans on a virtual tour of the new theme park in Japan.
The theme park is packed with Mario iconography. From the giant pipe entrance to Princess Peach’s castle to the special “Power-Up Band” that allows you to interact with the park; we already can’t wait to see what a Singapore location will bring!
