You may have missed the thrill of travelling since flying has been restricted due to the pandemic, but now there might be a solution to cure your wanderlust!
60 people were chosen by random among 7,000 people in Taiwan to experience travelling once again with fake flights amidst the COVID-19 pandemic!
The “travellers” can experience going on a vacation once more with a fake itinerary and they'll even be able to do everything from check-in, passport checks, security checks and even boarding the aircraft!
The destination? Nowhere. But passengers were seen taking selfies and photos on the A330 while flight attendants chatted with them.
They were also allowed to explore parts of the terminal and shop in the duty-free stores for a full “airport experience”.
Of course it’s not just for nothing because the airport is actually using the event to show off their completed renovations and the COVID-19 safety measures they are taking during this time!
“People who didn’t have the opportunity to take international flights at Songshan can use this chance to experience and learn more about the boarding process and relevant service facilities”, said the airport’s deputy director, Chih-ching Wang.
More fake flights have also been scheduled for people that missed out on the first round!
Do you know someone that misses taking flights? Let us know if you would take this fake flight!
