Some people will do crazy things for money… including this Taiwanese “white hat hacker’.
Chang Chi-yuan wrote a Facebook post promising to delete Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg’s account, and he’ll even broadcast himself doing this on Facebook Live!

According to Bloomberg, Chang is a famous hacker in Taiwan that has been sued by a local bus operator for hacking into its system and buying a ticket for RM0.14 cents (NT$1).
So, why is he deleting Mark Zuckerberg’s page? Well, Chang has been known to write about using hacking skills to earn money and apparently, Facebook has an ongoing program that “recognises and rewards” security researchers who report vulnerabilities in its service.

So, we did a google search on what a ‘white hat hacker’ is and it means he’s a computer security specialist that breaks into protected systems to test and assess their security. Okay, this makes more sense now.

If Chang is successful, he’ll be the second person to hack Mark Zuckerberg’s page. In 2011, a hacker managed to a post status update from Zuckerberg’s account:

If Facebook doesn’t manage to stop Chang from hacking into Zuckerberg’s Facebook account, you can watch it go down live at 6pm on Sunday (Taiwan and Malaysia are in the same time zone)!
