The Official Teaser Trailer For ‘The Addams Family’ Just Dropped And People Are Having Mixed Feelings

It’s hideous, it’s horrible, it’s back! Well, The Addams Family are back!

Everyone’s favourite dysfunctional family is back in the first official teaser trailer of the upcoming movie.

The animated reboot of the classic cartoons sees a star-studded cast taking the lead as our favourite family members. Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron take the lead as Gomez and Morticia Addams while Chloe Grace Moretz and Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard voice Wednesday and Pugsley Addams respectively.

The movie is set to be released on the spookiest day of the year and we can’t wait!

It doesn't matter what the original designs were. This animation feels so dated. Lack of textures, glossy with weird lighting, and the voices don't feel like they match the characters' designs.

I worry this will sacrifice warm character moments for dumb humor. I'm worried. :(

Personally I like it. Very Hotel Transylvania-esque. Also they’ve done a really terrific job with 3D spacing and blocking
