Sometimes, the most unusual things happen while we’re trying to take the perfect picture and it creates the best on-camera moment.
In this case, all this grandma wanted was a picture on an iceberg throne.

The grandmother from Texas sat on top of an iceberg shaped like a throne to pose for a picture but the iceberg unfortunately cracked and she drifted off to sea! Luckily, she’s safe!
Judith Streng and her son Rob were recently travelling on vacation in Iceland when they stopped for a photo op at Diamond Beach in Jökulsárlón. The throne looked like something out of Frozen!

Speaking to ABC News she said, “It was shaped like an easy place to sit. You can tell by looking at the shape of it, and I thought well it looks like fun.”
“When I got on it, it started to totter and a wave was coming in. A very large wave came in and kind of made the throne kind of rock, and I could tell that I was slipping off,” she continued
Judith’s granddaughter, Catherine shared screenshots hilarious texts from her father about the incident.
One of the texts said, “Lost her kingdom when she drifted out to see! No joke. A coast guard rescuer had to save her and bring her back to shore!”
Judith told ABC News that she had seen several people sit on the iceberg throne before she had her try, so she thought that it was safe when she sat down.
“I don’t weigh very much so it was a little easier to float off I guess,” she said. “I’ve always wanted to be a queen… that was my chance.”

Luckily for Judith, a bystander who happened to be a boat captain that was trained in water rescue, quickly help to bring her to shore.
We can’t help but to feel sorry and laugh at the same time! At least this grandma got to have her royal moment!
