Although we’ve been told repeatedly to never film movie scenes in cinemas and share them on social media, it seems that some people never listen.
Golden Screen Cinema (GSC) recently took to social media to address the issue, and they sounded disappointed and angry all at the same time.
In the Instastory that was posted, GSC said that they’ve put up multiple notices asking people to stop illegally recording movies during their cinema time. However, some continue to do it—with some putting up FB Live videos too!
“What if we don’t get to air movies in the future because filmmakers have lost their trust in Malaysians?” GSC’s post asked.

Just so you know, if you’re caught illegally recording videos in the cinema, you could be jailed for a maximum of 5 years and fined up to RM20,000.
Don’t be an industry spoiler, guys!
