Double the fun at the 2025 Golden Globes as celebrity doppelgängers take center stage!
Among the stars gracing the red carpet were two lookalike contest winners: Miles Mitchell, who resembles A Complete Unknown actor Timothée Chalamet, and Maxwell Braunstein, a dead ringer for Hit Man star Glen Powell.
Both men were dressed in sharp suits and proudly held a sign that read, “I won a lookalike contest and now I’m at the Golden Globes.”
Mitchell first garnered attention in October 2024 at a fan-organized lookalike contest in New York’s Washington Park, where he wowed the crowd with his striking resemblance to the 29-year-old Chalamet. The event took an unexpected turn when Chalamet himself showed up, making the competition even more memorable. Despite being shut down by the NYPD due to the crowd size, Mitchell was able to meet the actor at a screening later that month, sharing a fun Instagram post.
Meanwhile, Braunstein made waves in Austin, Texas, when he won a Glen Powell lookalike contest judged by Powell’s own mom. The event saw Braunstein beat hundreds of competitors to claim victory. As a prize, he was awarded a FaceTime chat with Powell himself.
Both Mitchell and Braunstein were thrilled to meet their celebrity doppelgängers on the Golden Globes red carpet, snapping a selfie together.
Although the lookalikes themselves weren’t nominated, their celebrity counterparts were. Chalamet earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in A Complete Unknown, while Powell is up for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his performance in Hit Man.
