Some love it to the bones, some hate it with a passion, but if you’re a Twilight fan, book or movie, we’ve got good news for you because a new book is coming!
It doesn’t matter if you’re #TeamEdward or #TeamJacob because we’re all on the same team after author Stephanie Meyer confirmed that a new Twilight book is officially on its way!
Fans noticed a mysterious countdown clock on the author’s website last week and the entire fan base were anticipating what was coming before the clock ran out. It was revealed that the new book titled “Midnight Sun” will be released on the 4th of August 2020!
The announcement was so big that it crashed the website but fans are now anticipating the new book that will tell the story of Twilight, but this time from Edward Cullen’s perspective!
“I am very excited to finally, finally announce the release of Midnight Sun on August 4. It’s a crazy time right now and I wasn’t sure if this was the right time to put this book out, but some of you have been waiting for just so, so long. It didn’t seem fair to make you wait anymore.”
“Sorry about the bad timing. Hopefully this book can be a distraction from the real world,” Meyer said. “I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you.”
If you’re a huge Twilight fan you would know that Stephanie Meyer has been working on the book since 2000 but never finished it after some of the early chapters were leaked online in 2008 and she decided to put the project away from frustration.
The 12 leaked early chapters were then posted on her website where fans were able to read and be hooked onto the story once more, but the complete story has never seen the light of day… until now!
Will we finally understand the reason behind Edward Cullen sitting in the dark corner of Bella Swan’s room and staring creepily? Either way we’re excited to read the book coming this August! And who knows, maybe Robert Pattinson will do something about it… or not.
