Imagine this. You're going through a bunch of old pictures and come across one where it's you and your childhood best friend. You haven't seen them since the picture was taken and you're wondering how they are. What do you do?
For 19-year-old Brianna Cry, she turned to Twitter for help.

Going through some old family scrapbooks, Brianna came across a picture of a friend she had met on a dinner cruise when she was a kid. She then began to wonder what had been happening with the old friend that she has made one night in Hawaii over a decade ago.
That's when she decided to ask the internet to help her search for her long-lost friend.

Speaking to Teen Vogue she said, "I thought, 'Let's see if Twitter can find her for me." Brianna recalled that she was only seven years old when she first met her friend on vacation.
"I don't think there were many kids our age on this particular dinner cruise, so we found each other and stuck together the whole time," she added.
When Brianna turned to Twitter, she didn't get her hopes up too much. She shared the old picture and wrote: "Hey Twitter, I met this girl on a dinner cruise in Hawaii in 2006. We were basically best friends for that night so I need y'all to help me find my best friend cause I miss her and I need to see how she's doing now. Please retweet this so we can be united."
What she didn't expect was for her tweet to go viral! "I was shocked," Brianna said of the overwhelming retweets and likes on her tweet.
And the best part of it all? The Twitter-verse did worked its magic and Brianna found her old best friend! The girl in the picture reached out to Brianna after being made aware of the tweet by her classmates.
Heidi "Heii" Tran spoke to Teen Vogue saying, "They directed me towards Twitter, and… I was blown away by the response Bri had gotten. I didn't think so many people would be invested in a story like this."
Heii finally responded to the viral tweet with a picture of her own from the dinner cruise and simply wrote, "Heard you were looking for me."
Brianna of course was super excited to finally find her long-lost friend in Heii.
Twitter exploded with joy over the reunion!
