We love the sound of “Welcome to UNIQLO!” whenever we step into the store—and we love their designs even more.
UNIQLO’s graphic tees are especially cool because they collaborate with world-famous brands and artists, such as Disney, Pharrell and the recent KAWS collection with Brian Donnelly.
So, knowing how cool UNIQLO tee designs are, we were so excited when we found out that rising graphic artist and clothing designer Verdy has teamed up with them for a capsule collection, “RISE AGAIN BY VERDY”.

The millennial is already famous in Japan for his involvement in streetwear designs. One of his standout works is the Girls Don’t Cry imprint, which was originally a message he printed out on a tee for his wife to cheer her up. Awwww.
Now, he’s catering for both men and women (so dudes, don’t feel left out!). “This time I wanted to also create men’s items,” he commented about his decision. “We’ve refined the silhouette and paid particular attention to the elements in addition to graphics.”

Verdy’s collection features his unique typography style, which complements the uplifting messages he uses, such as ‘Break The Mold’ and ‘Where Dreamers Become Doers’. He chooses messages that he feels is relatable to him in everyday life. “The idea of ‘Break The Mold’, or pursuing new challenges, is something I feel all the time,” he explained.
