Many of us grew up watching cartoons with Bahasa Malaysia dubbing and sadly, one of the more legendary voice dubbers, Zairaini Sarbini has passed away.
The Malaysian dubber who gave her voice to characters like Detective Conan, Sakura from Naruto, Shizuka from Doraemon and more, passed away at age 48 in the company of her family on 9th August after losing her fight with cancer.

Besides Detective Conan, she also voiced many characters from Digimon, Crayon Shin Chan, Danny Phantom, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Spongebob Squarepants, Ninja Boy, Atashinchi, Gundam Seed and many more.

Her husband Shamsul Cairel shared with Harian Metro that her health had been deteriorating since the week before her death and she continued her treatment at home after she didn’t get her chemotherapy in time.
She wasn’t able to speak properly since her cancer cells spread to her brain and showed sign of breathing difficulty before breathing her last breath in the company of her family.
Many Malaysians are paying tribute to the late voice dubber who made their childhood, with a video of the career long voice dubs compilation video gaining many views on YouTube.
