Weddings are hard to plan and to choose a wedding theme requires a lot of time and energy… but this couple decided to have two wedding themes instead of just one!
A Malaysian-Singaporean couple’s wedding recently went viral after they decided to have both a traditional Indian and a Chinese themed wedding.
Pathma Gurusamy and Ng Boon Jun shared photos from their Hindu wedding that was held in a temple and Chinese wedding with morning gatecrash and tea ceremony!
She also wore a cheongsam and a traditional Indian wedding saree at their wedding reception and it’s beautiful!
Pathma revealed that she and her husband observed two weddings back-to-back and wanted to honour both traditions and are glad that both families got to experience each other’s traditions.
The post that was shared in the Subtle Asian Traits group got netizens wow-ing over the interracial themed wedding and we’re impressed too!
