Most of us are familiar with how fast food restaurants have certain times of the day where customers can get their breakfast, lunch or dinner set but this woman was furious when she was late for it!

The angry woman from East Grinstead, West Sussex reportedly called the police after she missed out on the fast food's breakfast by minutes!

She missed out on the breakfast after she was caught up in the queue at a fast food restaurant’s drive thru and by the time she reached to order, it was already past the 11am cut off time.

The staff refused to serve her the burger she wanted and she thought it was “unfair” and proceeded to phone the cops. And they were not pleased.

"A call @11.30 this morning from an angry lady who stated that due to the queue at the McDonalds drive thru in EG,” Mid Sussex Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Darren Taylor wrote in a tweet.

“By the time she got to the window the breakfast service had stopped and she couldn't order a breakfast,” he added. "The lady was given words of advice about ringing the Police."

The woman was revealed to have wanted the police to talk to the fast food restaurant staff about it because it was unfair but Inspector Taylor said that it “was not a police matter and that we would not be investigating her complaint.”

Many people on the internet were angry at her actions, with many saying they have been in the same situation before but calling the police was ridiculous.

Some also sarcastically said that the fast food restaurant had already extended their breakfast meals timing from 10am to 11am but she still missed it.

We know it can be disappointing to miss out on limited time offer sometimes but it’s definitely not right to blame the staff in this situation. After all they are just doing their jobs.

Have you ever missed out on a fast food breakfast order before? Tell us what you would do if you were the staff serving this customer!
