A customer was left frustrated after receiving a drink that was only a quarter full when she requested it without ice.
Ariy Madri shared her experience on TikTok, posting a video of the partially filled cup. "This is my first time buying food here and ordering a drink without ice, and this is what I got," she explained.

When Ariy questioned the staff about the issue, they told her the drink was served that way because she had requested no ice.
The incident sparked a lively discussion online, with some users suggesting the issue was due to preset drink measurements on the dispensing machine.
"If it's a machine, the measurement is fixed, and there’s not much staff can do. But they should inform customers beforehand," one commenter noted. Another added, "This type of food service operates on specific measurements. It's not like food stalls or restaurants where drink portions stay the same even without ice."

Other users argued that the drink should still contain a reasonable amount of liquid, even without ice.
"Even if there’s no ice, the drink should at least fill half the cup," one person remarked. "I’ve worked in F&B before, and this amount is unacceptable." Another added, "I get that no ice means less liquid, but this is way too little — it’s barely a drink."
Some suggested a simple solution to avoid dissatisfaction: "They could’ve just added plain water to fill up the cup," one user commented.
