It’s finally time for celebrations for Malaysians because ZERO local cases have been recorded today!
With the decline in positive cases, Malaysia has finally recorded zero new local cases with only one imported case today (July 1).
The new import case recorded involves a Malaysian returning from Turkey.
It’s also the 17th day in a row where zero death cases were recorded with 21 new recoveries in Malaysia.
“The achievement today is a result of everyone's cooperation at each stage including adopting new habits in daily life and government-imposed SOP,” Director General of Health Dr. Noor Hisham wrote.
“The decline in daily cases also reflects self-control and social responsibility.”
“However, the Ministry of Health wants to remind the public that the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing worldwide. The virus might still make a comeback if we are not alert and take the advice, instructions and warnings from the government.”
The Director General ended the post by saying, “practice COVID-19 prevention wherever you are. Together we can break the COVID-19 infection chain in Malaysia.”
Thank you to all Malaysians who have been complying with the COVID-19 prevention rules!
Congratulations, Malaysia and good job! (But don’t stop following the COVID-19 prevention rules!)
